OopsNote ("we", "our", or "the App") is a notes and reminders application developed and operated by Disha Shukla. This Privacy Policy explains how OopsNote handles information when you use the application.

OopsNote is designed to work without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information to us.
Information you enter into the App
You may create notes, reminders, titles, descriptions, dates, times, priorities, and other content within OopsNote. This information is used to provide the features of the App, including displaying your notes and sending reminders.
If OopsNote stores this information locally on your device, the contents of your notes and reminders are not transmitted to our servers.
Device and technical information
OopsNote does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photographs, or precise location unless a future version of the App specifically requires such information and provides appropriate disclosure.
2. Notifications and Reminders
OopsNote may request permission to send notifications so that it can remind you about scheduled reminders. Notification permission is used to provide reminder functionality.
You can manage or disable notification permissions through your Android device settings.

Information within OopsNote may be used to:

5. Data Storage and Security
OopsNote is designed to store your notes and reminder information locally on your device.
Because locally stored information is stored on your device, you are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device, including device authentication and other security controls provided by Android.
We do not guarantee that information stored on a device will never be lost, damaged, or inaccessible.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Your notes and reminders remain stored on your device until you delete them or remove the App, subject to the behavior of your Android device and any backup mechanisms enabled by you.
You can delete individual notes or reminders using the features provided within OopsNote.
If you uninstall OopsNote, locally stored app data may be deleted by Android. Any information included in a device backup is subject to the backup and restore settings of your device and the relevant service provider.
Because OopsNote does not require an account, there is no OopsNote account that you need to request us to delete.
7. Children's Privacy
OopsNote is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Third-Party Services
OopsNote may use services provided by Google or other third parties that are necessary for Android functionality, application distribution, security, crash reporting, analytics, or other technical purposes.
